Megan & Vida – A Pearl Brewery Adventure!

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! Josh is actually home this year, so we’re stoked to get to celebrate the cheesy holiday together. In this busy time of the year, we like to celebrate any time we get to have together, so it’s cool that Valentine’s happens to fall on one of those times. Here’s hoping you’re surrounded by all the people you love doing something that you enjoy!

Today’s blog post is all about Megan & Vida. Megan is an athlete I met in my job at UTSA in the Athletic Academic Center. She played for the UTSA Soccer team, so naturally, I got to help advise her for a little while. I’ve worked with most of the teams in athletics and enjoy the heck out of the soccer girls! They’re filled with intelligence and a cool interest in life. Megan was no exception. When she approached me after I put out an advertisement for couple sessions, I knew we were going to have a great time!

I enjoy The Pearl immensely, so when we met on the day of the shoot – I was pretty stoked. The forecast was calling for rain, so I got to use my really pretty clear umbrella that I have on hand for this particular occasions. Exploring around some of my favorite spots and learning some new ones with these love birds was a total blast.

As you go through these, I hope you enjoy the visible connection between these two. It seems like they just like to have fun and the radiance of their smiles and looks in each of the pictures shows that pretty dang well. These were a blast – I hope you enjoy!

There you have it! Megan & Vida, you two are a bundle of fun. Thanks for adventuring around one of my favorite spots in San Antonio!

Since it’s Valentine’s Day, we’re offering up a flash sale on all of our sessions! Book by 11:59PM tonight and grab a session for 45% off the original price. This is an amazing deal, so don’t miss out!

I’m stoked to be close to being completely booked through the spring! There’s a lot of good stuff coming up for Boshnasty Photos – & we’re stoked to shoot with as many people as we possibly can in the beautiful weather that’s coming up. If you’re looking to book a shoot in the next couple of months, don’t wait to reach out!

Last but not, we want to say thank you to you guys! It’s the best – getting to do photography as a big part of my life. I get to be creative and travel and meet the best people, & there’s nothing better than that. Without the support of all you guys, we wouldn’t be able to have fun for a living – so THANK YOU!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

Shelby & Chase – A Surprise Engagement!

Happiest of Tuesday’s, guys! I’m currently in Houston waiting to shoot UTSA Men’s Basketball take on Oregon State at the Toyota Center – which is really cool. I’ll officially be marking a must off the bucket list by shooting at an official NBA arena! Not too bad of a way to lead up to Christmas, if I do say so myself.

Today’s post isn’t about basketball, though. Today, I’m bringing you guys one of the most important shoots that I ever got to be a part of. Shelby is one of my best friends – she’s intelligent, looks out for the people she cares about, and has this way of looking at the world that I hope more people will embrace one day. So – when her then boyfriend approached me to shoot their SURPRISE engagement, I knew I needed to be a part of it.

We spent a few weeks planning this whole shindig down to the way we were going to set Shelby up and have Chase surprise her. When it came down to it, I think it went better than we could have ever thought out or planned. As Shelby turned around and saw Chase on one knee, I suddenly understood why I do this job. Her most genuine reaction was something that I’m so very proud to have gotten to catch and share with you guys. For the rest of time, Shelby can look back and see just how exciting it was to say yes to forever with the love of her life.

As you go through these, I hope you enjoy the candid nature of the whole lot. These two have natural chemistry that jumps from the photo. Shelby has a beautiful smile and Chase looks at her like she hung the moon. If nothing else, enjoy the love you can so clearly see.

Congrats you two – I can’t wait to capture your start to forever!

There you have it. Chase, thank you for letting me capture these memories for you guys. Shelby, I can’t wait to see what you’re going to look like as a bride. So many congrats to the both of you and your future together!

This upcoming Thursday & Friday I’ll be in town doing some holiday sessions at a discounted rate. It’s never too late to grab family photos and remember this beautiful time of the year with the ones you love. Simply fill out the form below and grab a spot. I’m capping my shooting time on the 23rd, so grab a session while you can. The new year will bring new prices!

I’m also still offering senior sessions for $75. It has been a blast over the last couple of weeks celebrating with all of my seniors and I’m stoked to continue offering an affordable price for memories that are so so so important!

Lastly, I can’t close out without saying thank you to all of you guys! Without the people that support, book sessions, or simply look at the photos – we’d be nowhere. I get to enjoy this dream of mine on a daily basis and I’m so grateful. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Oh, and happy holidays!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

Vivian & Kaleb – Fall Edition!

Happy Tuesday, everyone! As basketball season creeps up on us, the days are going faster and faster. It’s insane to think that I was just shooting summer sessions when it’s already almost November! I love getting to document the seasons, so the time thats been flying by has been spent doing the best of things.

Today’s blog post is about a couple of familiar faces. Vivian & Kaleb have been on the blog before. We took a tour of the Flower Vault over the summer and it was such a blast – I knew I needed to shoot with them again. When the season actually started to change, we took our time exploring the sundown at one of my favorite spots – Cibolo Creek Nature Center.

I gush this to them at our sessions each time – but these two are seriously adorable together! It’s amazing to see how they open up around each other. Vivian has a gorgeous smile that brings about a softness in Kaleb that is a pleasure to catch on the camera. These two have a really cool love that is most excellent to get to know more about each time we shoot with them. It doesn’t hurt that they look stunning together, either!

As you go through these, enjoy the different lighting situations we were dealing with throughout the evening. The sun was setting quickly, so we had to move from place to place and caught so many different angles of the remaining sunlight.

There you have it! Vivian & Kaleb, you guys are the best and make the prettiest photos. Thanks for coming out time and time again!

We’re still currently booking our fall sessions. They’re at their reduced rate until 11/1, which is quickly approaching! Like I said earlier, time is flying… That means you’ve got a couple more days to take advantage of the awesome session price they’re currently set at. You can grab your Christmas sessions at this price until then, too!

My schedule is getting a little crazy with basketball and the sessions already book – which means if you’re looking to snag a session before the year is out, please do so soon! I’ll be traveling and all the fun stuff – so don’t wait to book with us.

We’ll be putting together our Grinch sessions very soon, so those can be booked at this moment in time, too! The costume is great and Josh’s acting is some of the best. These are probably going to be the most fun! If you’re interested in something a bit more traditional, we’re making several trips to the tree farm, so that’s also an option for our Christmas/Winter sessions.

& as always, thank you for your support! Josh and I wouldn’t be able to do the things we’re doing with photography if it wasn’t for you guys. I’m living the dream of shooting the things I love, and I appreciate that so very much!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

Andy & Jeri – An Early Morning Adventure

Happiest of Monday’s, my friends! I hope the weekend was lucrative and you got to spend as much time with your loved ones as you could. Josh and I were insanely busy and that trend won’t end until at least March – so we’re enjoying all the time together that we can.

Today’s blog post is all about Andy and Jeri – one of the cutest couples that I’ve ever met. Andrew is my nephew, and is insanely hard headed and knows exactly what he wants. Jeri is his sweet lady friend and she’s got so much knowledge and excitement behind her eyes that she’s a perfect match for Andy. Whenever they’re together, it’s cool to see how these two balance each other out and enjoy the relationship they create together. It gives face to what love is really about.

When they came for a visit, it only made sense that I put them in front of the camera. Jeri is our resident photographer when we go back to Alabama, so it only seemed fair! It didn’t hurt too much that these two are insanely comfortable with each other and they’re a blast to be around. We got up early and tried to beat out the rain as we shot these. When you get to the photos at the end, you’ll notice that we didn’t quite miss the rain like we wanted to.

As you go through these, enjoy their smiles. Andy isn’t much for smiling, but when Jeri is around, he seems to beam with a grin that no one else can create. It was a joy to edit these beauties, so I hope you enjoy!

There you have it! Andy and Jeri, you guys are always a pleasure to be around and obviously so handsome together. Let’s meet up in Auburn and try these again! If you’re interested in a session like this one, shoot us a message and let’s have an adventure!

We’re currently booking our Halloween/Fall themed mini sessions. I posted a few examples of the backdrop in the last post on the blog, so if you’re interested and wander what these photos might look like, click on the link here.

Conner & Shelby – A Golden Light Adventure!

Happy Tuesday, everyone! When I looked at the calendar today, it hit me how fast time is flying. It seems like the summer just started, and here we are – a couple weeks from back to school. Then I think about how rich & full the summer has been and it makes sense that it’s already the end. Crazy, right? I hope your summer has been much of the same & the end will be the best yet!

Today’s blog is all about Conner & Shelby. These two are pretty well known around UTSA. They both play in UTSA’s SOSA, which is the extremely talented band. When they play at the basketball games, they give The Convo life in a way that no one really has before. They are loud, skilled, and so ready to heckle an opponent. Being a part of a group that can bring that much entertainment & noise, I knew they were going to be a blast to be around and shoot.

I wasn’t disappointed, either. We spent an hour exploring Cibolo Nature Center during the best part of the day – golden hour. They weren’t afraid to take off their shoes and get their feet wet when we waded through the little creek running through the park – what’s better than that? All and all, we were able to grab the best of the light & the best of Conner and Shelby.

As you go through these, take in the rich yellow & orange. It’s so insanely eye catching and bathes these two in the most gorgeous hue. I had a blast editing these – so I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

There you have it! Conner & Shelby, thank you again for braving the heat and bugs and bright lights. You two are a blast & we can’t wait to work with you again!

If you’re looking for a session like this to end the summer, fill out the contact form below. We’re currently offering our sunset sessions at a $50 discount – we’ve been enjoying them that much!

We’re also pretty stoked to head into the fall! My schedule is getting pretty full, especially in October/November when basketball season starts. If you book your holiday/family session by the end of the week, we’ll honor the $50 discount we’re offering for our sunset sessions!

Lastly, I’m finally ready to start booking Back-to-School mini sessions! These are so fun and quick to get cute pictures of your kids without the hassle. Vivian & Kaleb – A Couple’s Shoot

Happy Thursday, everyone! It’s a good week when I get to spend both Thursday & Friday shooting and editing. I’m enjoying all the things summer has provided me with, and the photography has been one of the best parts. Bring on all the beautiful people & amazing weather!

Today’s blog post is all about Vivian & Kaleb! These two are the most adorable couple I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. We also spent our time shooting around Flower Vault, which happens to be one of the best studios around here! Between all of the gorgeous backgrounds and the sweetness of the two of them – it was an excellent Saturday morning.

I’ve worked with Vivian before, and she already knew how the session would flow – so I spent most of my time making sure her other half felt just as comfortable. It didn’t take much effort, however – Kaleb is a cool dude that is so insanely in love with Vivian that the shots came naturally and the hour passed easily!

Vivian & Kaleb, thanks for introducing me to who you are as a couple. It’s so nice to be able to get to know a couple when they’re in their natural habitat with each other. As you go through these pictures, you’ll clearly be able to see how much these two mean to each other!

Enjoy our Flower Vault adventure below!

Thanks again, guys! You two are so cute together and the pictures cement that fact so completely. Let’s shoot again sometime soon!

We’re currently offering 15% off our engagement/wedding sessions to all my newly engaged friends! Fill out the contact form below to get the process started.

We’re also offering 10% off holiday card sessions today & tomorrow if you book with us now! I’m quickly running out of open spots in October/November, so make sure you get a jump on booking your card session and grab a good deal while you’re at it.

As always, thank you for the never ending support! We couldn’t do this without you and are so appreciative of everyone who continuously comes back to view our pictures, get their photos taken, or simply know who we are and send good vibes out into the universe for us. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Until next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

The Nicola’s – An In-Home Session

Happy Wednesday, everyone! I’m so very stoked about this week. We’re currently spending some quality time with my sister and niece, and the 4th of July is quickly approaching. It’s cool to see how everyone decides to celebrate our country & the cool freedoms we’re allowed. We usually BBQ, grab some sparklers, and enjoy the sweet outdoor activities (cornhole is kind of my game!)

Today’s blog post is all about The Nicola’s! If you’ve been following for a while, you’ve seen this name a couple times before. Aundrea & Angelo are a sweet couple that we love getting to see. Documenting their life is just another cool little perk. This time, we were lucky enough to spend some time with their gorgeous puppy, too! As a family, The Nicola’s are so organized, put together, and seem to have the most fun. It doesn’t hurt that Maggie is one of the cutest puppers I’ve ever seen.

When I found out they were moving into what they consider their forever home, I knew I needed to help document the transition. In-home sessions are all the rage right now, too – so that was an added plus. There is so much of both Aundrea & Angelo throughout the house. Their decor is tasteful and radiates their commitment to each other and their faith. It was a blast to get to know these two a little better through the intricacies of their home.

As you go through these, pay special attention to the color coordination. I’m so impressed by the continuity of beauty throughout their home. Guys, thank you for letting us invade your space and take photos of you in your natural habitat.

There you have it! Aundrea & Angelo, you guys are beautiful as always. Your home is spectacular and I can’t wait to see what you guys create with that amazing space!

To celebrate 4th of July, we’re offering 35% off ALL of our sessions. This will run through July 5th, so we hope to hear from you soon! These summer adventures have been my favorite & I can’t wait to see where you guys take us next!

As always, thank you so very much for your support! We couldn’t keep doing what we’re doing without you guys. We’re so very grateful for the adventures we get to take!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

& Happy Fourth of July!

Chelsea & Christian – A Boerne Adventure

Happiest of Friday’s, my friends! It’s a great day, simply because it’s the end of the week and the weekend will be here before we know it. My niece is coming to town, so I’m a little extra excited for Saturday to get here. She’s a gorgeous human person & time with her is the best!

Today’s blog post is about Chelsea & Christian and our Cibolo Nature Center adventure. If you’ve never been to that place, you’re going to want to go after you see these gorgeous shots. There’s a creek within a big grassy area, within beautiful trees. There are so many different places to snag great shots that it’s kind of overwhelming. Regardless, we managed to pick some of the places that caught our eye first – & they turned out fabulously!

I first met Christian during my grad school program. I was at the end, taking a summer class, and he was just starting. We shared the incredible experience that is Dr. Yao’s class & made it out successfully at the end. Since then, we’ve both been in athletics, doing our own thing. Fast-forward a little bit & Christian is now working closely with my husband on the basketball team. Which means we obviously needed to be adult friends. It doesn’t hurt that his wife is fantastic & the four of us seemed to get along swimmingly on the warm Sunday afternoon we shared.

Now – Christian & Chelsea are one adorable couple. They joke, laugh, & play the entire time they interact. There were a lot of smiles being shared and this cool sort of energy just surrounds them. When you go through these, all of those qualities will be totally apparent. One of the first spots we had them sit down and Christian challenged Chelsea to a game of rock, paper, scissors – it was the cutest thing I’ve seen! It’s natural & easy, so I hope that’s felt in the photos.

Without further ado – my favorites from Chelsea & Christian’s Boshnasty Photos adventure!

There you have it! Chelsea & Christian, thanks for coming out to shoot with us. It was a great time & the result was even better. You guys are so very great!

We’re currently offering family/couple sessions for 25% off! From now until June 31st, we’re celebrating the beauty of summer and the fun families can have together over the course of the next couple of months. Get yourself on our calendar and let’s make some photo magic!

As always, thank you for coming to the site & reading about our adventures. You guys are the only reason we get to do what we do – so we appreciate you very, very much!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

Ariel & Joe – Holiday Photos

Heading back to Alabama is always a treat. Being around my family is always an adventure and this trip wasn’t any different. One of the best parts of going back is seeing my nieces and nephews. Unlike most people who are aunts or uncles, I’ve known my nieces and nephews since I was a young kid. Jamie’s children grew up around me, experiencing the same life changes as I was. It’s a different dynamic and makes fitting in a little difficult. It’s fun, though. Being close to someone you’ve known your whole life is an awesome thing.

Ms. Ariel has always been one of my favorite people. Trips to Alabama means trying to trick her into spending as much time with me as I can get. It also means following her around with a camera to get the gorgeousness that is her dark haired beauty. Like the rest of my family, this girl is incredibly photogenic.

This time around, I wanted Ariel to include her other half, Joe. Joe has been a part of the family for a while now, and it’s fun to get to spend time with him around Ariel. The two have spent a lot of time together over the years and know each other pretty well. There’s also inside jokes galore that just spill from them. There’s never a second that’s not entertaining when they’re together.

As you go through these pictures, you’ll get to see a gorgeous park that had the prettiest leaves all around it. The backdrop was well matched with their outfits and the cuteness that the two of them naturally bring. I love this time of the year, especially when it’s so damn noticeable in my pictures.

Enjoy the winter-y goodness below!
