The Ingram’s – Spring Edition

Howdy folks! I know, I know – it has been forever since the last time I checked in. It seems as if I apologize for that every time I write one of these, but c’est la vie! Life is life & I’ve been out there living it. So much so that it’s already the pipping hot Texas summer.

I hope this post’s family photos will help to forgive me, because they’re absolutely stunning. If you’re been around a while, you’ve more than likely seen Brent & Courtney around here before. They’re both lovely humans & gloriously photogenic. Luckily, their precious little one also inherited the genetic. When you look through them, you’ll have a hard time seeing anything other than Harper Jo’s adorable face & all the sass and attitude an almost one-year-old can muster.

Before I finish up with the good stuff, I wanted to take a second to thank everyone for their continued support. It’s hard to slow down enough to show gratitude, but I’m thankful to be constantly surrounded by great clients than more often than not become amazing friends! Use the code THANKFUL10 when you book to snag 10% off your next session.

Now, what we’ve all been waiting for – my time with The Ingram’s at Landa Park <3

Mommy & Me – Mini Sessions

Hey pals! I know, it’s been a minute since I last posted an update. It seems that life gets away from you when you’re busy living it. But – I’m here with some amazing photographs & happy news!

We’re finally hitting the most gorgeous part of the year & I’m totally here for it. Not only do Spring & Summer mean great weather, but the abundance of causes to celebrate certainly doesn’t hurt, either. In hopes of capitalizing on all of the beauty, I jumped on the good weather setups as quickly as I could!

I’m super excited to bring the Mommy & Me setup to life every weekend – since Mother’s Day is the first of the noteworthy celebrations, we’re celebrating as much as we can! So far, each shoot has been unique and beautiful in its own right; there’s nothing else quite like the relationship moms have with their children. Documenting the reality of that is an absolute pleasure.

My next scheduled round of shoots is this upcoming Sunday, April 3rd. I’ve already got a couple of time slots filled up & I’m getting excited for the fun to be had. If you’re interested in snagging your own session time, click over to this page here – I’m booking most of the day!

Now, onto what you guys are really here for! Torin & her girls are absolutely beautiful & were a blast to shoot. I always appreciate the opportunity to work with such a cool and genuine group of humans.

Check out some of our time together below!

Christmas Time with the Cartwright/Chavez/Kane Family!

It’s Christmas week, it’s Christmas week! If you weren’t aware before, this is one of my favorite times of the year – the holidays never cease to be such a lovely time. Here’s hoping you’re surrounded by family, or making your way there to enjoy the holiday!

Today’s blog is all about some beautiful clients that have quickly become family to Josh & I. Since Kristin contacted me to shoot her wedding a couple of years ago, I’ve slowly started to shoot all of the fun and exciting times of the Cartwright family. From one wedding to the next, Kristin & Rebecca’s last names might have changed, but the tight knit connection of the family hasn’t changed a bit.

I’m such a fan of the entire units dynamic, so pay special attention to Melissa & her interaction with her sons-in-law. I enjoyed getting to capture such an entertaining set of photos. If only every family dynamic could be so wholesome.

Before I share the photo goodness, I just wanted to share our final Christmas sale – we’re currently offering 20% off all of our sessions until the 23rd. There’s nothing better than the gift of memories, so take advantage while you still can!

Now, without further ado – the Cartwright/Chavez/Kane family Christmas photos!

Thanksgiving with the Dunlop’s

Happy Wednesday, everyone! I have been working, working, working to keep up with the busy holiday season – here’s hoping you all are taking time to enjoy the little things in between all the hustle and bustle!

Today’s blog post is all about one of my all time favorite families! If you’ve been around for a while, you’ve probably seen the Dunlop’s grandchildren on the blog a time or two. We’ve been documenting those beautiful little moments within their family for the past couple of years. This time around, however, we got the whole crew together & caught each of their children’s families on camera. It was an absolute blast to meet the part of Mark & Terry’s team we haven’t before.

As you go through these, mark the uncanny resemblance of everyone within the pictures. It’s a treat to get to see multiple generations of one family interacting and existing within the same space. Viewing genetics at work is an amazing thing!

So, without further ado; A Holiday with the Dunlop Family!

The Van Petten’s – Christmas Edition

Hey friends! I’m jumping on here hoping you lovelies are having a great holiday season – it has been busy busy over here. While that’s not unusual for The Modica’s, it’s been a different sort this year! Many thanks to everyone keeping me that way, too; it’s an absolute pleasure.

Today’s blog post is all about the Van Petten family. I first met these lovely humans in May of last year – Hillary & her littles stopped by to capture some Mommy & me pictures. Like most of my clients with young kids, it has been an absolute joy to watch them grow. Having them come back for Christmas pictures was a no-brainer!

As you go through these, pay special attention to the smallest member of the group. She starts out a little less enthusiastic than the rest of the family, but slowly becomes more outlandish and expressive as the photos go on. The big smile on her face in the last photo is one of the reasons I do this job. I hope you enjoy the expression of happiness just as much as I did shooting and editing these photos.

One more thing before I go – we’re slowly winding down these holiday sessions. The last weekend to shoot is in two weeks, so snag a spot while you still can! Head over to our contact page to start the process – we can’t wait to shoot with you!

Now, what you’ve all been waiting for – The Van Petten’s & their studio adventure!!!

Holiday Photos With The Filo Boys

Happy Monday, everyone! Despite the weekend feeling like it was only a couple of minutes long, it was a successful one – the Roadrunners are 9-0, so there’s truly not much to complain about! Here’s hoping your Saturday & Sunday felt just as successful.

On the blog today is a set of new faces that I’m so excited to share with you guys! Being in the UTSA family means getting to know all the parts and pieces of the operation & their families. Though we’d never met in person before, reaching out to Brittany felt like the easiest thing to do. Not long after, her beautiful boys were in the studio helping me make photo magic. One of the best parts of this job is creating a connection & this new one is one I’m so very excited to have.

I can’t forget the lovely addition to these photos, however. Chelsea, who has graced the blog once before, embodied Cindy Lou Who in place of Josh’s Grinch for the session. To say she did it perfectly would be a genuine understatement. Not only is she creative to a fault, but Chelsea is also a fantastic artist herself & made most of her costume from scratch. With the new addition, the parts & pieces of our little San Antonio Whoville are really starting to come together.

Before we get to the pictures, I wanted to take a second to talk about these fun holiday sessions. On top of The Grinch, Josh is stepping into the black boots and white beard of Santa – which means we’re offering both Cookies with Santa and Mean One Minis for the rest of November & into December. These sessions are packed full of spirit and cheer (& they end up being a blast, too)! Spaces are limited, so if you’re looking to change up your holiday celebration this year, click over to our contact page & snag a session for yourself!

Now, without further ado, here’s Colton, Carter, & Cindy Lou!

Courtney & Brent – A Maternity Session

Hey, friends! Two blog posts in one week is a rarity for me, so I’m really excited to be sitting here writing this. With all of the holiday madness coming up, I’m trying to stay on top of my game. Here’s hoping that plan stays solid all the way through!

Anyway, I’m checking in today to share one of my favorite maternity sessions to date! Brent & Courtney are close friends of ours that can’t wait to welcome their new addition to the world. Shooting with them throughout their session, it was insanely apparent that their little girl is so eagerly anticipated. These two together make a great couple & will rock parenting’s socks off when the time comes.

We spent a gorgeous evening out in Boerne after our first attempt was rained out. Low and behold, the sky decided to open up during this try, too. Something really cool happened, though – only a few raindrops fell, giving the perfect ambience and leaving behind a gorgeous double rainbow. As a photographer, I have never seen something like that, and when all is said and done, I probably won’t any time soon, either. As you look through the pictures, take a second to really appreciate just how beautiful the world around us really can be. Sometimes, you’re standing at the right place at the perfect moment – I’m so stoked it just so happened to be during these photos!

Before we get to the main event, I wanted to mention my holiday shooting schedule. Many of the dates are already booked and my freedom dwindles down by the day. Our Christmas minis have been a blast so far & I can’t wait to get into the heart of them, but they’re selling out fast, too! If you’re interested in family photos or some time with Santa, click over to the contact page to grab more information & book a session!

Now – here’s what you really came for; check out the beauty of Courtney & Brent’s maternity session!

The Lahrman’s – A family Session

Hi friends! I hope your week has been treating you well and the weekend is something to look forward to. I’ve been enjoying the late summer heat after all the rain – with Saturday looking the way it is, we might even break out our little pool!

Today on the blog we’re hanging out with the Lahrman family! This beautiful collective of humans has graced the blog many times throughout my photography adventures. Between Devon and Mike, they’ve created these gorgeous mini humans that are filled to the brim with personality and intelligence. It’s always a pleasure working with them.

When I set up my swing mini sessions, I knew Devon and her babies would be perfect to bring life to the backdrop. We had a blast celebrating mom and throwing dad in on a few of these, too! As you look through them, check out how much individuality stands out in these pictures – every one of the little ones has the biggest voice.

Before you go, I just wanted to let you know that my holiday season schedule is already filling up! The busy season is going to be extra busy. So, to entice you to book your sessions early, I’m offering 15% off all of my packages until July 31st! Shoot me a message here or find me over on any of the plethora of social media sites to book a session.

Thanks for sticking around – enjoy my fun with The Lahrman’s!

Pat & Justin – Father & Son

Hi friends! So, I know its been a while. I clicked onto my own website the other day and kind of cringed at the date of my last post – how can I expect you guys to want to be around when I haven’t even updated you on my work in ages… absolute ages! You know how it gets, though – life is busy and some things end up taking a back seat. Fear not, however, I’ve been shooting nonstop and working with some of my very favorite people! One of the best parts of this job is getting to make friends with the people who come out to shoot with us.

Pat & Justin are gracing us with their father-son goodness today. Both of these fellas are humans that exist outside of my photography life, too. We’ve been shooting Justin since he was a tiny baby and Patrick is a good friend of ours from Josh’s job. It’s an honor to document the big moments in Pat & Kelly’s lives now that Justin is around making their time much more exciting.

As you go through them, take a look at just how similar these two are to each other. From looks to mannerisms, the Grant boys aren’t lacking in sameness. These were a blast to shoot and even more fun to share with you all!

Oh, before you start clicking through the gallery, I just wanted to let you know that we’re having a little sale on all of our full length sessions! Book before the 30th and grab 10% off. We’re also booking our Grinch photo sessions already, so jump on those while the good dates are still available! Joshy is being a bit more selective about his time in the suit! Send us a contact form to get your session booked!

I hope you guys enjoy Pat & Justin’s father-son session!

The Henson’s – Maternity Edition

Howdy, friends! The holidays were so nice that I decided to extend my vacation a couple of days – but I’m finally back & ready to take on what 2021 has to offer (here’s hoping it’s more lucrative than 2020)! I hope everyone has been enjoying their holiday season & getting the most out of time with friends & family, or even on your own if that’s your sort of dig!

Today’s blog post is about one of my favorite family – The Henson’s! These guys have been on my blog a time or two; I’ve watched little West grow up from small little bean to the bouncing almost 2 year old he is today. When Ash approached me for a maternity session with their latest addition, I was stupidly stoked!

I’m such a fan of the parent tag team that Ash & Q make; they let West be the big personality that he is while working really well together. The newest little guy is lucky to come into such an excellent family. We tackled the golden light over in Boerne – it was gorgeous & made for some of the best photos!

The newest addition of The Henson clan is here & well, so make sure you check back in the next little bit to see part two of this adventure; the newborns!
