The Lahrman’s – A Family Adventure!

Happiest of Friday’s, everyone! All of the changes in the weather has my sinuses all out of whack, so I’m once again not feeling as well as I could – but it has given me lots of time to edit. Here’s hoping you guys are fairing a little better and the start of the weekend is looking promising!

Today’s blog post is all about our friends, The Lahrman’s. Their two gorgeous twin daughters have been on the blog before. We made some summer fun in front of these really stunning spray paint wall-art and had a blast in the process. This time around, we got to include the whole family on the fun. It’s quite a thing to shoot whole families after just dealing with the kids. You get to see where they get their personalities from and it’s always fun to see how families interact with one another.

We spent a gorgeous Sunday morning at The Pearl, navigating all of my most favorite spots. It was a little chilly, but the lighting for the day was the best it could have been. The whole experience was amazing – The Lahrman’s are a great family filled to the brim with personality and kindness that can’t really be replicated.

As you go through these I hope you enjoy just how gorgeous this family is together. Every single person has their own unique look, but there’s so much familiarity between them as well. Devon’s beautiful auburn hair and unique eyes give the girls such a different look – it’s absolutely stunning. I had a great time with these and hope you enjoy them just as much!

There you have it! Lahrman’s, you guys are the best. Thanks for trusting us with your beautiful family and letting us capture the essence of who you guys are together. If you’re looking for a session like this, use the contact form at the bottom to snag your spot!

We’re quickly heading into the warm weather and that comes with blue bonnets and gorgeous flowers! We’re already in the midst of planning our bluebonnet sessions and want to make sure everyone has access to them. So – here we are. All of our bluebonnet sessions are $95, yet packed full of beauty, fun, and lots of excitement. The location we like has so great access to light – & we’re so excited.

We’re also trying to get ahead of senior photos! If you’re a 2020 graduate and want to celebrate your accomplishment for a relatively good price – you’re in the right place! Until 3/17 we’re offering our senior sessions for $135! This is the cheapest these will be until literal days before graduates are set to walk – so don’t miss out!

Lastly, we’re so happy you guys are here. This is the most fun and enjoyment I’ve been able to get out of my adult life and it’s all because of the people that support us in this adventure. It’s amazing to get to do this day in and day out, so thank you for booking sessions, checking out our photos, and simply liking what we do.

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

The Cheatham’s – A Family Session!

Happiest of New Year’s, everyone! Here’s hoping the end of the decade has been good for everyone and you’re spending the night with people you care about and enjoying every single second of the last minutes of 2019. Josh and I are hanging with my family and binging all of the shows we’ve been putting off.

Today’s blog is all about The Cheatham family! Michelle is the UTSA Softball coach and I knew getting to know her family would be a blast – & I wasn’t wrong. The older boys are full of personality and smarts, both with their own likes and interests. The youngest is the only girl in the bunch and seems to have everyone wrapped around her finger. She’s full of spunk and her own personality to boot. I’ve never seen anyone more stoked to see acorns in my entire life.

Our session was full of laughs, big smiles, and tons of getting to know each other. Cibolo Creek Nature Center is one of my favorite places to shoot and I’m always stoked to follow clients around all of the beautiful areas the place has to offer. By the end, we were talking Star Wars and getting hugs from the little one – it was a total blast!

As you go through these, enjoy how well the family seems to mesh together and how much fun we were having throughout the entire time! I had a blast shooting these and hope you enjoy them, too!

There you have it! Cheatham’s, thanks for trusting us with these precious memories & allowing us to get to know your family a little better. We hope to shoot with you guys again soon!

We’re currently hosting a flash sale to end the decade. Simply shoot us a message before midnight to grab 40% off all sessions. It’s the best time of the year to update family photos and document where you are at the beginning of the ’20s. We’re stoked to meet all the new families and spend time with all of our returners in the upcoming year.

To cap off our last post of the year, we just want to say thank you! Without all of you lovely people booking us, checking out our posts, or simply looking at our pictures… we wouldn’t be where we are today. Our future as Boshnasty Photos is so bright and we’re so thankful for all of you!

Happy New Year, y’all!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

The Pittman’s – A Cibolo Nature Center Adventure!

Happiest of Friday’s, everyone! Here’s hoping it’s the last day of work for the a little while and the beginning of holiday celebrations. We’ve got one more day until we can be considered “off”, but I’m not mad about it – I’ll take UTSA Men’s Basketball any day!

Today’s blog post is about a beautiful family that Josh and I have the pleasure of getting to work with at UTSA. The Pittman’s have two gorgeous daughters that take after their parents so much, and Derek & Amber are two of the kindest people I’ve ever met. When I was approached to work with them, I knew it was going to be a blast. & when we walked up to see their coordinated outfits, I figured these were going to go off without a fault!

Not only were they amazingly coordinated, but we got to adventure around one of my favorite places in Boerne – Cibolo Nature Center. I’m not sure what it is about that place, but it allows me to create something new each and every time we head that way to shoot. There’s a new place I find, or figure out the light a little bit better… it’s one of the best parts of doing this job and exploring all of the great places around Texas.

As you go through these, I hope you enjoy their coordination and how happy they seem to be with one another. We didn’t have to work hard at all to get these four to enjoy their time together. You can tell in these photos – so I hope you enjoy them as much as we did!

There you have it! Pittman’s, thank you for trusting us with personifying your family – it was a total blast. Oh, and a special shoutout to Ms. Amber – Happiest of Birthdays!

We’re offering our holiday special until 12/31, which means you don’t have to rush to get your family photos done before Christmas. We’re going to be taking some time off to celebrate the holiday, but we’ll be back and ready to close out the year very soon. Don’t wait around, though – we’re bumping up our prices after the new year!

I’m also looking to do some cool New Years Eve sessions to cap off the year and could use some models! If you’re interesting, don’t hesitate to fill in the form at the bottom of this post. It’s going to be a blowout, so don’t miss out on the opportunity!

Lastly, and probably most importantly, thank you! I’ve gotten to live my dream because so many great people support our business. Whether you’re booking a session, checking out our photos, or simply reading this post – you’re contributing to something that is so very important to us. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Oh, & happy holidays!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

The Thompson’s – A Holiday Adventure!

Happiest of Tuesday’s, everyone! It is amazing how quickly the time is passing. It seems like it was just Thanksgiving and now we’re only a couple weeks away from Christmas! Between senior sessions/holiday card photos and all the basketball I can fit in – it has been a busy end of the year. & that’s something that I wouldn’t change for the world.

Today’s blog is all about The Thompson’s. This gorgeous family has been on the blog before and I’m so stoked to get to debut them again. Joshy boy works with Scott, so we get to see this family pretty often. It’s always a blast to get to shoot with families year after year. You get to see how everyone changes, how things stay the same, and how the year has treated everyone. As an adult, it’s crazy to see how fast time flies around little kids. Little Quinn was barely walking last year and now she’s speaking and throwing out the sassiest of sass!

This year, we tackled Denman Estate and it was gorgeous! Texas has had an uncharacteristic fall in terms of the foliage. The leaves actually changed colors and stayed on the trees for a lot longer than they usually do. Instead of dreary grey, we got so much color! I love what Texas has to offer, but it’s nice when it gets changed up a little bit. It didn’t hurt that the water was a crisp blue that enhanced all the other colors around.

As you go through these, I hope you enjoy each of the kid’s personality that shines so brightly in each of these photos. Not only are The Thompson’s a beautiful family, but there are so many unique characteristics between them that it’s never boring when they’re around. These are some of my favorites, so I hope you enjoy!

There you have it! Thompson’s, thanks for trusting us with your family photos again. It’s an honor to get to know the family more and more as the time goes on. Family photos are some of my favorites, & we’re currently offering a great deal!

My schedule is just about filled up for the rest of the year – so if you’re looking to take advantage of our $135 full session, do it soon! The weather has been so amazing, all of the sessions have turned out so so well. It’s the perfect time of the year to update family photos and enjoy the beautiful Texas weather.

We are also offering graduation sessions for $75. That’s not our normal session price, but I thought it was important to celebrate with my fellow Roadrunners and offer something affordable! I’m such a fan of my school and can’t wait to learn more about the future alumni finishing up their academic journey. Please fill out the form at the bottom of this post if you’re interested!

As always, thank you guys for the never ending support. Between everyone looking at these photos to those booking our services – the support is amazing! We wouldn’t be able to do any of the things in our business without every single person. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

A 1st Birthday Party Adventure!

Happy Tuesday, everyone! I’ve slowly been getting myself back into the swing of school things, so my days have been a whirlwind. It feels like it should already be Friday, and it’s only the second day of the week! I hope everyone is having a smooth transition back to the reality of the school year.

Today’s blog post is all about an adorable little boy named Octavius! He’s the son of someone I just had the pleasure of meeting, and is so insanely cute. When I saw the theme of this party, I knew it was going to be a lot of fun. Then, when the birthday boy arrived in his little sailor suit, I was sure these pictures were going to be some of the best I’ve taken. He rocked the hell out of that little shirt and hat, and I’m so glad to have caught it.

I never really understood parties for babies until I started to do photography. Especially one year olds. They are barely able to recognize the people around them, let alone take place in the activities. As I started to shoot occasions like this, it all started to make sense. These types of things are just as much for the family of their little one as it is for the baby. People are watching what was such a little thing at one time grow up – and as an adult, it’s so much easier to see how that can seem like it’s moving way too fast.

Getting to capture big milestones like this always reminds me that if I’m a parent, I’m going to want to keep every second of my child’s life – especially huge moments like this. Photography gives me lots of things, the most exciting being a new perspective on all the things around me.

As you go through these, I hope you appreciate his adorable little outfit and the obvious fun Octavius is having. His family and friends gave him the richest attention throughout the process, so keep an eye out for photo representation of that, too.

There you have it! Ocatvius, I hope you get to look back on these and remember the time fondly. Or at least see how fond the time was for everyone around you! If you’re having a party and want someone to capture it – I’d love to share that special time with you and your family! These were an absolute blast & I can’t wait to do more.

We’re currently still offering $50 off all of our sessions until the end of August. I want to cling to the summer as long as I can, so if you book a sunset session, we’ll give an extra $10 off! That’s right, ANOTHER $10 off!

We’re also putting together our fall mini sessions, which will take place September 21st and October 12th! Our backdrop is gorgeous and we can’t wait to see who comes out to shoot with us! The current $50 off can be used towards these sessions if you book before the end of August – (which is an amazing deal for these!) so don’t miss out.

As always, thank you for hanging in there with us. We couldn’t do this without all the people who book with us & look at our stuff throughout the year! Y’all are the greatest and we can’t wait to see what else comes our way!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

The Nicola’s – An In-Home Session

Happy Wednesday, everyone! I’m so very stoked about this week. We’re currently spending some quality time with my sister and niece, and the 4th of July is quickly approaching. It’s cool to see how everyone decides to celebrate our country & the cool freedoms we’re allowed. We usually BBQ, grab some sparklers, and enjoy the sweet outdoor activities (cornhole is kind of my game!)

Today’s blog post is all about The Nicola’s! If you’ve been following for a while, you’ve seen this name a couple times before. Aundrea & Angelo are a sweet couple that we love getting to see. Documenting their life is just another cool little perk. This time, we were lucky enough to spend some time with their gorgeous puppy, too! As a family, The Nicola’s are so organized, put together, and seem to have the most fun. It doesn’t hurt that Maggie is one of the cutest puppers I’ve ever seen.

When I found out they were moving into what they consider their forever home, I knew I needed to help document the transition. In-home sessions are all the rage right now, too – so that was an added plus. There is so much of both Aundrea & Angelo throughout the house. Their decor is tasteful and radiates their commitment to each other and their faith. It was a blast to get to know these two a little better through the intricacies of their home.

As you go through these, pay special attention to the color coordination. I’m so impressed by the continuity of beauty throughout their home. Guys, thank you for letting us invade your space and take photos of you in your natural habitat.

There you have it! Aundrea & Angelo, you guys are beautiful as always. Your home is spectacular and I can’t wait to see what you guys create with that amazing space!

To celebrate 4th of July, we’re offering 35% off ALL of our sessions. This will run through July 5th, so we hope to hear from you soon! These summer adventures have been my favorite & I can’t wait to see where you guys take us next!

As always, thank you so very much for your support! We couldn’t keep doing what we’re doing without you guys. We’re so very grateful for the adventures we get to take!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

& Happy Fourth of July!

Baby Lovell – A Newborn Adventure!

Happy Thursday, everyone! I love the summer – my days have been packed with lots of photography & tutoring, and my nights round out the heat of the day with lots of chilling with my Joshy and my lovely family. It’s nice to be able to have so many fulfilling things in life – each day is one that is fun and exciting, no matter what’s happening!

Today’s blog post is all about Meghan & Matt’s baby, Jackson. Baby Lovell came into the world a little early, but that didn’t stop him from being as cute as a button. We’ve been documenting these two since they got engaged last year – and it was amazing to finally meet their new addition. One of the best parts of being a photographer is that specific thing – getting to be a part of multiple milestones is people’s lives. Meeting Jackson was just the icing on an already yummy cake.

Our session started with Jackson fast asleep – so we hung around until he decided to peak his pretty little eyes open. From there, we tried to be as efficient and quick as we could. We moved the little guy from pose to pose, letting him rest in mom’s arms, then dad’s – and back again. It’s like a fun game, trying to keep a small child cooperative and keep mom & dad engaged. It’s like rubbing your belly and patting your head… as long as you keep the rhythm up, you’re okay. All and all, I think we did a pretty good job keeping Jackson happy while getting the stuff we wanted.

Meg & Matt, it’s so cool to see you guys as parents. We knew you guys would be great, but it’s a whole other thing to see it in action. Meghan, you’re radiant, and you know exactly what to do – like it’s instinct. Matt, you can’t help but beam when that little guy is in your arms. It’s so cool to see the people you care about become something they’ve always wanted to be. Jackson, your mom & pop are going to love the heck out of you – so I hope you’re ready!

Check out how cute The Lovell Family is below – there’s a cool collection of both color & black and white images. I had a good time playing with the natural light that flows so beautifully into the Lovell’s home. Enjoy their cute family below!

There you have it! Meghan, Matt, & Jackson – thank you for including Josh & I in your lives. We hope to see what time brings you next and can’t wait to capture the big moment!

We’re currently offering 20% off on sessions now through June 21st! I’m happy to be shooting so frequently & can’t wait to go on adventures with all of the amazing people who choose us to capture their memories. Simply fill out the contact sheet at the bottom of this post to receive your discount – we can’t wait to work with you!

One last thing! I’m still looking for a couple and one more person to be brand reps for our little business. If you’re interested, fill out the same contact form below. We’ve already started our styled shoots & they’re looking amazing!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

Sam & Scott – An Engagement Session!

Hey everyone! Today is one of those Monday’s that I can’t help but be excited about. I got to get back into tutoring – which is one of my favorite things in my life. Imparting the knowledge I’ve gained in my studies to other people is an amazing feeling. I also worked on these beauties most of the afternoon – and there ain’t a thing wrong with that!

If you’ve been here for a while, you’ve seen the subjects of today’s blog post. Scott is my sweet nephew who has grown into a cool young adult. Between him and his gorgeous fiancé Sam, these two have too much cool between them. Over the years the two have been together, Josh & I have captured them together on multiple different occasions. They look good together and have a natural kind of chemistry that’s so, so, so fun to shoot!

Today’s post is all about their engagement shoot. That’s right, I said engagement shoot! These two are getting hitched and I’m lucky enough to get to capture it all on my pretty Canon camera. Sam makes Scotty so happy & it’s going to be the greatest thing to capture their happiest day. I’m impatiently waiting to see what Sam is going to look like as a bride, and the smoothness of Scott’s fashion sense will balance it out perfectly. Not to mention that the gorgeous backdrop in these pictures is their wedding venue. These are beautiful, but I can’t even wait to see what the big day snaps are going to look like!

Sam & Scott, you two are beautiful together and we’re lucky to be in your lives to see and capture it. It’s cool to grab these memories not only for you two, but for the big families you’ll both be a part of.

Enjoy these golden hour engagement photos – they’re absolutely stunning!

There you have it! Sam, I’m so excited to welcome you to the family. You & Scotty are so cute together and have the best chemistry. That’s what is needed to make the partnership that is marriage work. I’m already excited for BRIDALS! Thanks for trusting us with this.

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

Ms. Georgia – Senior Pictures!

Happy Saturday, everyone! It has been a long day for Josh & I. We drove ourselves home from the great state of Colorado – and if you’ve done that from Texas, you know it’s a very VERY long drive! We’re currently lounging around and I’m catching up on all the editing from the passed couple of weeks. Here’s hoping you guys are enjoying your own blissful day!

Today’s blog post is all about Ms. Georgia. This chick is one of my niece’s very best friends. One of the best parts of being an aunt is getting to see how all of the people I love & care about grow. Which means I get to see the people they love & care about grow up, too. Georgia has been friends with Tori for years, so I’ve caught her here and there throughout all the cool portions of her life. I had the cool honor of capturing one of the best parts of growing up, though – graduating! She’s a 2020 graduate, but it’s worth celebrating, nonetheless.

Georgia is very quiet and reserved, choosing to keep her smiles and laughs for the people & things she cares about the most. Our first stop on this little picture tour was her favorite coffee shop. If you live in Auburn, Alabama you know this little place. It’s unique and chill, down to Earth in all the right ways. Probably one of the coolest places I’ve gotten to shoot at thus far, too! Check out Mama Mocha’s if you’re ever in the area.

Our next stop was the Arboretium. This place is so gorgeous and has such a diverse selection of places to get great shots. It’s also a special place to Georgia & her family, so that was just icing on the cake!

The last stop we made together was my favorite of the bunch! Georgia’s great-great Grandma was a dancer just like she is. Their family actually had one of their grandma’s old dance costumes that Georgia would ultimately wear. I was tasked to replicate a picture of her great-great grandma dancing in a similar costume. It was an absolute blast to play around with the posing, and Georgia looked great in the beautiful family heirloom.

As you go through these, enjoy the quiet elegance that is this young lady. You’ll see another series of these pictures later on, but for now – enjoy!

There you have it! Georgia, I’m stoked to see what your senior year is like, and can’t wait to do some more of these before you walk that stage. For all seniors like Georgia, I’m offering two part senior sessions. We’ll take some senior portraits now, then come back & shoot again when caps & gowns start making their way out. That way, everyone gets to celebrate to the fullest! Contact us below to find out more about this program!

Until June 21st, our regular senior sessions will be $75! That means all high school & college grads that didn’t get the pictures they wanted before they walked can still grab a good deal! I love academics & this achievement is big, so I’m stoked to offer these sessions at the price they are!

LASTLY – our summer celebration is still going on! Grab 20% off all sessions, including our wedding/engagement packages. We’ll keep this one around for a little bit longer, so don’t miss out! It’s a gorgeous time of the year for family photos…

Thank you, as always, for coming here and reading about our business adventures! Without you guys, none of this would be possible. We appreciate you!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

Miss Ava – 2nd Birthday Bash!

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Josh & I are currently on vacation with my family in Alabama, so I actually had to check the calendar to make sure it was Tuesday. It is always a whirlwind, coming back to see my big family – so the days seem to all blend into one another. It’s a good day, though – my sweet Dylan is graduating from high school!

Anyway – today’s blog is all about my little friend Ava. Ava is the granddaughter of my work mama, Mrs. Tracy. Despite having met her only a couple of times, I know so much about this kid. Mrs. Tracy is a proud grandmother and tells tales of the many adventures of Ava pretty frequently when we’re in a lull period at work. It’s fascinating to see everyone’s perspective on growth – especially one that is so affectionate and engrossed in the person being described.

The nicest thing about getting to hear about this little girl is actually getting to see the stuff you’re told in person. Ava has a big personality that is just now starting to come through. She knows what she wants and lets everyone know about it. Heck, she followed me around like we were best friends, and that never happens! For being so young and so little, Ava brings something ginormous to the table every time she’s around. In just the hour we spent with her, I knew she’d be fun to be around and even more fun to watch grow.

I’m so appreciative of the friends that bring me into their families for the time it takes to grab some memories! Tracy, introducing us to your granddaughter is one of the coolest things you could’ve done for Josh & I. We can’t wait to see who this little chica becomes!
