Ryan takes on Eilan – A VDAY Adventure!

Happiest of Tuesday’s, everyone! I’ve been pretty lethargic all day with a sinus infection, but I couldn’t wait to get these photos up. They’re the perfect way to count down the days until VDAY on Friday. Hope you’re feeling a bit better than me and the week is shaping up to be a good one!

Today’s blog post is all about our good pal, Ryan. This kid is one of the coolest humans I’ve ever gotten to know. He’s so intelligent and has so many different interests that he knows so much about. Whenever we get together to do pictures, he is so excited and brings a lot of joy to our time together. For Josh and I, he’s someone we get to expand our craft with and it’s amazing to see him grow and change over the time we’ve known him.

If you’ve ever been to Eilan, you know that the architecture is amazing! There are so many cool buildings and colors that just seem to coordinate so well together – despite being so different. It was cool to let Ryan roam around the cool scenery and come up with things to do with the props we brought with us. His spirit is so rich in all of these, it’s pretty cool.

As you go through these, enjoy how Ryan is totally embodying a tiny Casanova. These were a total blast and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

There you have it! Ryan, you’re a blast as usual. Can’t wait to see what we come up with next. If you’re looking for a cool session like this, fill out the contact form at the bottom of this post!

As Valentine’s Day looms closer, we’ve decided to offer some sessions on THE BIG DAY. Josh mentioned that couples get dressed up beautifully and kids have parties in school – so why not offer the opportunity to get some photos done while they’re dressed to impress. It’s a pretty good idea, so we’ll be offering mini sessions on 2/14 from 11-5. These are going to be loads of fun, fast (20 minutes), and a great way to kick off a great evening with the people you love. Fill out the comment card below to grab a time!

We’re also in the works of putting together some bluebonnet sessions. If you’re interested in these, or have a good place that you know has these beauties in surplus, let us know! Spring in San Antonio is one of the best times for photos, so we’re excited to start shooting in the gorgeous weather coming up.

Lastly, we want to thank each and every person reading this right now. We get to live our dream and it’s because people support us by reading the blog, scheduling sessions, and checking out our photos. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

The Pittman’s – A Cibolo Nature Center Adventure!

Happiest of Friday’s, everyone! Here’s hoping it’s the last day of work for the a little while and the beginning of holiday celebrations. We’ve got one more day until we can be considered “off”, but I’m not mad about it – I’ll take UTSA Men’s Basketball any day!

Today’s blog post is about a beautiful family that Josh and I have the pleasure of getting to work with at UTSA. The Pittman’s have two gorgeous daughters that take after their parents so much, and Derek & Amber are two of the kindest people I’ve ever met. When I was approached to work with them, I knew it was going to be a blast. & when we walked up to see their coordinated outfits, I figured these were going to go off without a fault!

Not only were they amazingly coordinated, but we got to adventure around one of my favorite places in Boerne – Cibolo Nature Center. I’m not sure what it is about that place, but it allows me to create something new each and every time we head that way to shoot. There’s a new place I find, or figure out the light a little bit better… it’s one of the best parts of doing this job and exploring all of the great places around Texas.

As you go through these, I hope you enjoy their coordination and how happy they seem to be with one another. We didn’t have to work hard at all to get these four to enjoy their time together. You can tell in these photos – so I hope you enjoy them as much as we did!

There you have it! Pittman’s, thank you for trusting us with personifying your family – it was a total blast. Oh, and a special shoutout to Ms. Amber – Happiest of Birthdays!

We’re offering our holiday special until 12/31, which means you don’t have to rush to get your family photos done before Christmas. We’re going to be taking some time off to celebrate the holiday, but we’ll be back and ready to close out the year very soon. Don’t wait around, though – we’re bumping up our prices after the new year!

I’m also looking to do some cool New Years Eve sessions to cap off the year and could use some models! If you’re interesting, don’t hesitate to fill in the form at the bottom of this post. It’s going to be a blowout, so don’t miss out on the opportunity!

Lastly, and probably most importantly, thank you! I’ve gotten to live my dream because so many great people support our business. Whether you’re booking a session, checking out our photos, or simply reading this post – you’re contributing to something that is so very important to us. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Oh, & happy holidays!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

Michelle & Trent – Christmas at Flower Vault!

Happiest of Monday’s, everyone! I hope the holiday weekend was everything you wanted it to be and everyone got to capitalize on all of the great deals that come along with our food coma holiday. Our Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal is still going and will be the best prices were offering this year!

Today’s blog post is all about Michelle and her boyfriend Trent. I know Michelle from my job in Athletics. My first year as a GA, I got to work with the Women’s Soccer team pretty closely. As the time passed, I got to spend a lot of quality moments with each of the different ladies – Michelle included. As a former athlete, it was really easy to connect with this lady & it doesn’t hurt that we’re both really into school and stuff, either.

When Michelle approached me about a session, I jumped on it the second that I could. It’s not often that I get to shoot a COUPLE at Flower Vault. I absolutely love that space and it’s a challenge to get people in poses that look good with the same background in each of them. I love a challenge – it’s what makes my job the most fun. When you go through these, you can tell that we had a lot of fun enjoying the space!

While you go through these, I hope you enjoy all of the love between these two. They seem to really enjoy each other’s company and make a good pair!

There you have it! Michelle & Trent, it was a joy to get to know you as a couple and shoot together. We’re currently offering our mini sessions for $60, so a trip to the Flower Vault would be a good way to use that mini session!

We’re currently still offering our Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals – which means you can grab a full length session for $135 and a mini session for $60. & since it’s engagement seasons, we’re offering $250 off of all our wedding/marriage packages. These are our lowest prices of the year & the best time to grab a spot for a session. I don’t have too much space left and I’m loving every single second of these holiday sessions. You can also put this session price towards senior photos.

Please capitalize on these prices while you can – we’ll be increasing our prices in the new year!

If you’re interested in any of these sessions, use the contact form below. I’m starting to put the end of the year together and I can’t wait to meet with all of you guys!

As always, thank you! We could not do this thing without you guys and there’s not enough words of thanks I could say to express how important you guys really are. We’re so stoked for this journey and can’t wait to see where it takes us!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

He’s A Mean One – Grinch Mini Sessions!

Happiest of Wednesday’s, everyone! Today is going to be jam packed with lots of baking, prepping for all the cooking tomorrow, and shooting my favorite human in our cool holiday backdrop. This part of the year is one of my absolute favorites, so I’m soaking up all I can of it. So much so that we’re offering our full-length holiday sessions for 40% off!

Today’s blog is all about everyone’s favorite green guy – The Grinch! As a fan of the character for most of my life, it made total sense to offer these sessions. It was a total blast getting all of the backdrops and making the vision come to life. We spent a couple weeks pulling everything together & it turned out so dang well! It doesn’t hurt that my husband is the perfect guy to play the part.

When Josh pulled on the costume, I knew that all of our hard work putting the backdrop together and finding the perfect place to have these shoots was going to pay off. When we did our first couple of sessions and I saw how everything looked on the back of the camera, I was so stoked! It only made sense that our first participant in these sessions was Ryan – one of our favorite little buddies.

As you go through these, enjoy the fact that Ryan is trying to beat Josh up in most of these. We had a blast getting to see more of this little guy come out of his shell and share his likes and interests with us. One of the best parts of these, aside from The Grinch (of course), is how much our clients personalities come out. We’re not doing too much posing, but letting people interact with Josh naturally to get the most genuine reactions!

We’re stoked to offer up these again this upcoming weekend. Since so many families are in town for the holiday, it seemed like a perfect time to offer these again. Check out the information below!

There you have it! If you’re a fan of The Grinch, these are the sessions for you. Josh is awesome with everyone who comes to our little branch of Whoville – so grab a session while you can!

We’re currently in the middle of our holiday rush! To celebrate the holiday week, we’re offering ALL of our full length photo sessions for 40% off. You can book a session with us anytime this week through 12/1 & receive the discount. We’ve been having a blast with all of the cool families and couples throughout the last few weeks and can’t wait to adventure with more of you guys!

We’re also doing another set of Grinch mini sessions this upcoming weekend. It looks like it’s supposed to rain on Saturday, so we’re going to move the second session to Sunday! You can book between 9-2 to grab yourself a spot with our resident Whovillian! We’re booking at half hour increments (9, 9:30, etc.) & these sessions are running for $65. We had a blast last Saturday & Josh gets really into character!

Lastly, we’re offering a cool Flower Vault mini session deal on Friday ONLY! All of our mini sessions are $65 that day, so don’t miss your chance.

As always, thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout the time our business has been up and running. As the holiday season comes around and I get to see all of the families that have been with us since day one – it reminds me how lucky we really are. Thanks for everything, y’all!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

Miss Allie – A Coraline Cosplay!

Happiest of Thursday’s, everyone! The thickness of my work week is quickly coming my way and I’m so very excited. This is the first weekend of our Grinch mini sessions & I can’t wait for everyone to see Josh as the Grinch and take part in our Christmas setup! It’s going to be a blast.

Today’s blog post is all about my good friend Allie. You’ve definitely seen this lady on the blog before – she’s one of my absolute favorites to shoot! Not only is she stunningly beautiful, but she’s got one of the nicest and most unique personalities that I’ve ever come across. There are so many good thoughts and feelings that come from this girl – it’s a joy to know her. So getting to not only shoot her, but one of the best literary characters to ever exist is one of the coolest things!

I was actually with Allie when she decided to take on Coraline for Halloween. We were brainstorming and the second she was mentioned, it was kind of meant to be. When we decided to do a photo shoot to commemorate the costume and I saw Allie come down – I knew it was going to be SO MUCH FUN! & her creativity and uniqueness did not disappoint. Everything was on point… even down to the black buttons she used to cover her eyes! As per usual, we had a blast enjoying the day, each other’s company, and the cool cosplay she pulled together.

As you go through these, I hope you enjoy how much effort Allie put into playing a doll. There were a few times where we had to take a step back and really think about her placement, so I hope that you can enjoy the creativity in that! We had a blast, & I hope you guys do, too.

There you have it! Allie, don’t ever stop coming up with creative costumes, or letting me shoot them when you do. These types of shoots are my absolute favorite and I can’t wait for the next one!

We’re currently chugging away at all of our holiday sessions and can’t wait to fill our schedule with more of you lovely people! We’re offering the lowest prices of the season for both mini and full sessions & it’s totally worth it. Between Flower Vault, Cibolo Creek, and all of our other locations – there are so many options for these sessions. It’s finally cool enough and the scenery is finally in tune with the season – so don’t wait to book!

Our Grinch sessions are FINALLY a-go, too! This upcoming Saturday & Sunday 11/23 & 11/24 (10-1 both days!), we’re putting up our backdrop, Josh is putting on the costume, and we’re celebrating all the holiday that we can possibly handle. These sessions are priced at our mini session price and will be quick and easy. Not only is it all about the holiday, but Josh’s Grinch performance is impeccable! I’m so excited for you guys to finally get to see what he can do with the big green mask on. If you’re interested, please fill out the contact form to grab more information and book a time slot. These are going to go very fast, so don’t wait!

As usual, thank you guys! This has been a dream come true and every single session I get to shoot becomes more and more fun. I can’t wait to see what the future brings but until then – I want to show my appreciation. You guys make all of this possible and it’s the absolute best!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

Arlayna & Frank – Christmas Awesomeness!

Happy Wednesday, everyone! It’s kind of a gloomy day and I’m totally feeling it. It has been a long week and seems like its getting longer by the second. However, I’m so very excited to drop this blog for you guys! All of the Christmas sessions have been a total blast and you guys are finally going to get to see some.

Today’s blog is all about our friend Arlayna and her boyfriend Frank. We’ve shot with Arlayna before it she’s a total blast. If you can remember, this is the same graduate that did her confetti with kale instead of actual glitter. When we met her boyfriend, we knew he was going to be pretty dang awesome, too – & we weren’t disappointed. These two have a really cool relationship that they keep alive despite their the distance between them.

We spent our evening going around Cibolo Nature center & I’m a total fan of the place. There are so many different places that are totally beautiful and the scenery changes the more that you walk around the place. So, when we got these two goofballs together in one of my favorite places – we made some magic.

While you go through these, I hope you enjoy just how much these two appreciate each other. There are so many laughs and genuine grins that make this set so excellent. I had a blast shooting them, so I hope you guys enjoy them just as much!

There you have it! Arlayna & Frank, you guys are a blast and we can’t wait to see you two behind the lens again. You two are absolutely adorable. It’s the perfect time of the year for sessions like this, so fill out the contact form and we’ll plan something fun!

Fall Time Beauty – Bridget Style!

Happy Monday, everyone! We just got back from Orlando with Men’s Basketball (which means you’ll be getting basketball galleries here very soon!) & it was nice to catch up some editing I’ve been putting off. This is the busiest time of the year and I’m loving every second of it!

Today’s blog post is all about my girl Bridget. This girl is someone I met through athletics and I’m so glad to know her. She’s full of life, beauty, and this charisma that goes with her everywhere. Which is probably why she’s a fabulous cheerleader, too! The last time you saw her, she was on the blog with her handsome boyfriend, Mundo – but today, it’s all about her!

We went to one of the prettiest parks in Boerne and wandered around right through the golden hour. One of the best parts of fall is all the gorgeous colors, and these photos absolutely showcase that. Not only were the colors amazing, but the scenery we found to shoot around was amazing, too!

As you go through these, enjoy all of the simple poses that really highlight all of the other gorgeousness within the photo. I think it’s cool to just be able to capture someone naturally, and we did a great job of that with Bridget during this shoot. I’m stoked for these, so I hope you enjoy!

There you have it! Bridget, thank you for being amazing and always be up for whatever we throw your way. That makes this job so much more worth it! If you’re up for an adventure around this gorgeous location – shoot us a message! It would be absolutely perfect for Christmas card photos.

We’re currently booking our holiday sessions and man – it’s getting really really busy! If you’re looking to have some photos done, please make sure you book a session soon. It’s one of the peak times for basketball and we’re already pretty booked for the rest of the month! We’re also offering our cheapest prices of the year – so don’t miss out!

I’m also really excited to announce our Flower Vault mini sessions! They just put together their Christmas installation and it’s gorgeous – which means I have to make sure I shoot you gorgeous people there at least a time or two. This upcoming Saturday (11/16) and Sunday (11/17) we’re headed to Flower Vault from 12-5. You can use the contact form at the bottom of this post to grab yourself a spot – I’ve already filled a few out already!

As always, thank you for your support. This is a dream, and it’s only possible because of all you beautiful humans that contribute to it. Whether that’s booking a session, looking at a photo, or simply reading this post. Thank you! You are all the best and we’re soooo grateful!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

Fall Mini Sessions – Ava Edition!

Happiest of Thursday’s, everyone! It has been a whirlwind of a week and the weekend is going to follow accordingly. After my action photography break last weekend, I’ll be back at it both Saturday and Sunday. Gotta love UTSA Athletics. We’re also shooting some fall sessions, so don’t wait to book!

Today’s blog post is all about our Halloween themed mini sessions. Over the last couple months of summer, we had a couple friends bring their gorgeous children out to “trick or treat” at our little farm backdrop. It was a blast to see kids in costumes so early in the year, but even more fun to see what these shots would look like when we started to advertise them later on. They didn’t disappoint, either!

The model in these photos is our little friend Ava. She’s a bundle of energy and has so much personality. It blows my mind how quickly kids change, but this girl has grown so much since the last time we did photos with her. Kids show us how important it is to cling to all the things that are happening in the now, and this little one is a perfect reminder of that.

In the 45 minutes we got to hang out with little Ava, we managed to go through several suckers, lots of cute little mannerisms, and capture some amazing photos in front of our backdrop. We’re currently booking fall sessions all the way until November 1st, but we wanted to give you guys something a little more Halloween-y – so here you go!

Check out what our setup is going to look like with these mini sessions, then book your session below!

There you have it! Ava is the best model and we can’t wait to work with her again. I also hope that her modeling skills did a good job showing off what our little Halloween setup is going to look like.

Now that you’ve seen some previews, here are some details you may need to book with us! These Halloween/Fall themed mini sessions are taking place on October 13th and 27th between 10-2. When you book, we’ll let you know where we’re going to set up on each of the dates. Each session is thirty minutes in length and comes with all the best edits from our time together. We’re finishing off this package with a printed 5×7 of your choice! That means you’re getting pretty close to a full sessions worth of things at a discounted rate.

These sessions can be used for costume reveals, fall goodness, or simply because you like the scarecrow! We’re so excited to get these dates out to you guys, we’re not passing up an adventure with anyone! These are first come first serve, so once the date and time have been booked, I’ll cross them out and they will no longer be available. To make sure you get the date and time you’d like, we’re asking for a small deposit before the date and the rest when you come for your session!

These are the times you can choose from on either of the dates (10/13 & 10/27):

10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 12:00, 12:30, 1:00, 1:30

Use the contact form below or send us a message to grab your time and date! If these times get filled up quickly, I may look into adding another date with more times, so be on the lookout for that!

We’re still booking our fall sessions as well, so please don’t hesitate to reach out for those sessions, either. We’ve been loving our adventures around Cibolo Nature Center and can’t wait for the ones to come!

As always, thank you for hanging with us. We’re so very grateful for how things are going and how many people read along, comment, and book with us. It’s truly amazing!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

Miss Tori – Americana Style!

Happy Monday, everyone! This weekend was a mixture of great and really terrible, but in the end, it all evened out. I hope you guys had a great time with family and friends, and are enjoying all the things that summer can bring! Joshy and I get to do some traveling this weekend and next – so we’re living our best summer life.

Today’s blog post is all about my gorgeous niece Tori. This girl is insanely gorgeous, insanely talented, and a bundle of energy to be around! She is always smiling and wants to absorb as much affection and time with you as she possibly can. I appreciate all the visits we get to have – watching her grow up is one of the coolest pieces of being an aunt!

This year, Tori and her mama came to visit us right around the 4th of July – so I knew we needed to do something to celebrate the occasion. Being a dancer, Tori is no stranger to working with props and smiling that beautiful smiles of hers. Which means she makes the perfect model for all the fun things I had in store. When I put whatever we were shooting in her hand, she immediately fell into a masterful pose. This one is hands down one of the easiest people to shoot…. ever!

As you go through these pictures, I hope you enjoy the golden light, pretty Americana details, and Tori’s beautiful face!

There you have it! Tori, I love getting to shoot with you & I can’t wait to see what we come up with next. These are some of my most favorite photos, so I hope you guys enjoy all of these beauties!

We’re currently offering 15% off our engagement/wedding sessions to all my newly engaged friends! Fill out the contact form below to get the process started.

We’re also offering 10% off holiday card sessions today & tomorrow if you book with us now! I’m quickly running out of open spots in October/November, so make sure you get a jump on booking your card session and grab a good deal while you’re at it.

As always, thank you for the never ending support! We couldn’t do this without you and are so appreciative of everyone who continuously comes back to view our pictures, get their photos taken, or simply know who we are and send good vibes out into the universe for us. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Until next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

Happy 4th of July – Ryan Style!

Happiest of days, everyone! Whether you go big with the celebration, or you just chill with your people – I’m hoping the day is the best it can be. My family does a good combination of celebrating and chilling, so it has been a pretty perfect day on my end!

Today’s blog post is a celebration of the 4th of July and our good buddy Ryan. Anytime we need to run a new idea, we get in contact with Ryan’s mom. He’s usually very excited to be in front of the camera when Josh and I are putting together a new set of props and ideas. This shoot wasn’t the exception! Ryan puts on a big smile, brings some of the coolest props/friends, and makes taking photos the easiest!

Ryan, you’re one of the coolest kids we know – we appreciate how fun our sessions with you are! & we appreciate the introduction to Sully – he’s a lucky pup to hang with you. As you go through these pictures, enjoy the use of all the different props and decorations. Ryan does a good job being active & working with our ideas!
