Allie Mag – A Senior Photo Adventure!

Happiest of Monday’s, friends! It seems like the busier I am, the quicker the days go – especially the weekend. With the end of basketball season coming up, it’s a little bit insane in our household. Despite that, though – I’m enjoying every single second of the adventure and am hoping you are doing the same!

Today’s blog post is all about my good friend Allie. If you’ve been around for a while, you’ve seen Allie in lots of different forms. At Wonder Chamber, rocking a Coraline costume and most recently, as a college graduate! As someone who doesn’t have a high number of friends, it is absolutely insane to get to be a part of something so big!

One of the best parts of doing senior photos is getting to know the person I’m shooting. Since I already know a lot about Allie, we spent the time talking about her experience at UTSA, instead. I’ve been here a long time, especially as a student, but it never fails to amaze me – how different every single person’s experience on campus truly is. If you’re graduating here soon, make sure you take senior photos! It’s one thing to walk the stage, but something totally different to do your victory tour around campus and capturing every single second of it.

Miss Allie, thank you for being not only beautiful but insanely rare. There is something about the person you are that is so fun to be around and so interesting to get to experience. You’re filled with good ideas and have the kindest, most caring soul. The world is not ready for the things you’re going to bring about, but I can’t wait to see what happens, anyway!

There you have it! This tour around campus was filled with beautiful sun, the best places at UTSA, and a great friend. I can’t wait to start the process all over again!

Speaking of the process – it’s almost that time of the year again! I already have a whole slue of senior photo sessions lined up for the next coming weeks & can’t wait to add you to it! One of the best bits of this photography gig is getting to spend time with people who are excitedly achieving something. Graduation photos are some of the best representation of that. With that in mind, I’m offering all of my senior sessions for $135 if you book before 3/17. My schedule for the spring/summer is quickly getting filled up, so don’t miss out on the special date that you want!

With Spring coming up, we’re also offering our bluebonnet mini sessions. These are tons of fun, filled with lots of laughter and gorgeous scenery, and pretty quick! These mini sessions can be booked for any date in March/April and will run for $85. I want to take advantage of the immense beauty that the upcoming season brings, so lets make some gorgeous springtime memories!

Last, but definitely not least, we want to thank you all! This business is nothing without the support of the people looking at our photos, booking sessions, and keeping up with our day-to-day activities. If it wasn’t for you guys, I wouldn’t get to do what I love the most for work! More than anything, we’re insanely grateful for the people that help us make this dream a reality – so thank you so very much!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

Ryan takes on Eilan – A VDAY Adventure!

Happiest of Tuesday’s, everyone! I’ve been pretty lethargic all day with a sinus infection, but I couldn’t wait to get these photos up. They’re the perfect way to count down the days until VDAY on Friday. Hope you’re feeling a bit better than me and the week is shaping up to be a good one!

Today’s blog post is all about our good pal, Ryan. This kid is one of the coolest humans I’ve ever gotten to know. He’s so intelligent and has so many different interests that he knows so much about. Whenever we get together to do pictures, he is so excited and brings a lot of joy to our time together. For Josh and I, he’s someone we get to expand our craft with and it’s amazing to see him grow and change over the time we’ve known him.

If you’ve ever been to Eilan, you know that the architecture is amazing! There are so many cool buildings and colors that just seem to coordinate so well together – despite being so different. It was cool to let Ryan roam around the cool scenery and come up with things to do with the props we brought with us. His spirit is so rich in all of these, it’s pretty cool.

As you go through these, enjoy how Ryan is totally embodying a tiny Casanova. These were a total blast and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

There you have it! Ryan, you’re a blast as usual. Can’t wait to see what we come up with next. If you’re looking for a cool session like this, fill out the contact form at the bottom of this post!

As Valentine’s Day looms closer, we’ve decided to offer some sessions on THE BIG DAY. Josh mentioned that couples get dressed up beautifully and kids have parties in school – so why not offer the opportunity to get some photos done while they’re dressed to impress. It’s a pretty good idea, so we’ll be offering mini sessions on 2/14 from 11-5. These are going to be loads of fun, fast (20 minutes), and a great way to kick off a great evening with the people you love. Fill out the comment card below to grab a time!

We’re also in the works of putting together some bluebonnet sessions. If you’re interested in these, or have a good place that you know has these beauties in surplus, let us know! Spring in San Antonio is one of the best times for photos, so we’re excited to start shooting in the gorgeous weather coming up.

Lastly, we want to thank each and every person reading this right now. We get to live our dream and it’s because people support us by reading the blog, scheduling sessions, and checking out our photos. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

Shelby Williams – A Gruene Adventure!

Happy Wednesday, everyone! It’s the first full week back in classes and I’ve been hustling to keep up with all of the new material. I love reading, but there’s going to be a ton of it this semester! Here’s hoping the start of your week has been well and you’re looking at a great end to it!

Today’s blog post is all about Miss Shelby Williams. I watched Shelby grow into a beautiful human that has so many dreams and goals throughout her college career. She’s a previous member of UTSA’s Volleyball team, so if you’re a die hard Runners’ fan, you’ve seen her in action before. Shelby is full of excitement and will to live, packed to the brim with intention and determination, and filled with so much beauty – it’s actually insane.

I’ve shot with Shelby once before and upon finishing that shoot, she brought up Gruene. Since that’s much more her scene, I decided the next time we shot, we’d absolutely shoot there. Not only did she fit in perfectly to the beautiful surroundings, she stood out in the most perfect way, as well. When she stepped out of her huge truck wearing a jacket with fringe and the coolest hat – I knew this session was going to be amazing.

& I was not a single bit disappointed. As you go through these, I hope you can enjoy how comfortable Shelby is in this environment. The candid nature of these posed photos makes them most excellent – & the addition of her awesome hat just makes these even better. I had a blast with these, & I hope you enjoy them just as much!

There you have it! Shelby, you’re a blast to shoot with and I’m so excited to try out all the new spots you showed me. I can’t wait to see the next spot we decide to shoot in and the adventure we have! If you’re looking for a shoot like this, send us a message – lets make some most excellent memories!

We’re currently booking our Valentine’s Day Studio Sessions – they’re fast and fun & our backdrop is very cute. These are going for $95 and have been a blast so far. I’m turning over all of my edits to you guys – so you’re getting a lot for your money. We’ve also discounted our full hour length sessions! Book with us now until 2/14 & grab 15% off ANY hour session. These discounted sessions make for great gifts! We’ve even created a voucher for those that have purchased these sessions for other people!

After taking a look at my calendar, it’s easily filling up much quicker than it did last year. I’m currently booking senior sessions, engagements, and family session all the way out in June already. If you’re looking to have some photos done and want to make sure your date is still available… book with us now! This year has been full of fun already & we can’t wait to see where the days take us. Use the code BOSHNASTY20 to refer a friend and both parties will receive 20% off their session.

As always, thank you so very much for the support! This is a dream and has been an absolute blast. We couldn’t have done anything close to this without you guys and all the different ways we’ve been supported over the passed couple of years. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

Michelle & Trent – Christmas at Flower Vault!

Happiest of Monday’s, everyone! I hope the holiday weekend was everything you wanted it to be and everyone got to capitalize on all of the great deals that come along with our food coma holiday. Our Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal is still going and will be the best prices were offering this year!

Today’s blog post is all about Michelle and her boyfriend Trent. I know Michelle from my job in Athletics. My first year as a GA, I got to work with the Women’s Soccer team pretty closely. As the time passed, I got to spend a lot of quality moments with each of the different ladies – Michelle included. As a former athlete, it was really easy to connect with this lady & it doesn’t hurt that we’re both really into school and stuff, either.

When Michelle approached me about a session, I jumped on it the second that I could. It’s not often that I get to shoot a COUPLE at Flower Vault. I absolutely love that space and it’s a challenge to get people in poses that look good with the same background in each of them. I love a challenge – it’s what makes my job the most fun. When you go through these, you can tell that we had a lot of fun enjoying the space!

While you go through these, I hope you enjoy all of the love between these two. They seem to really enjoy each other’s company and make a good pair!

There you have it! Michelle & Trent, it was a joy to get to know you as a couple and shoot together. We’re currently offering our mini sessions for $60, so a trip to the Flower Vault would be a good way to use that mini session!

We’re currently still offering our Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals – which means you can grab a full length session for $135 and a mini session for $60. & since it’s engagement seasons, we’re offering $250 off of all our wedding/marriage packages. These are our lowest prices of the year & the best time to grab a spot for a session. I don’t have too much space left and I’m loving every single second of these holiday sessions. You can also put this session price towards senior photos.

Please capitalize on these prices while you can – we’ll be increasing our prices in the new year!

If you’re interested in any of these sessions, use the contact form below. I’m starting to put the end of the year together and I can’t wait to meet with all of you guys!

As always, thank you! We could not do this thing without you guys and there’s not enough words of thanks I could say to express how important you guys really are. We’re so stoked for this journey and can’t wait to see where it takes us!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

Brianna – A Fall Photo Adventure!

Happiest of Tuesday’s everyone! It’s a cool week for the Modica’s. We’re headed to California to take on the greatest place on Earth – Disneyland! Josh and I are the biggest Disney nerds, so it’s going to be a blast getting to get on all the rides and meet all the characters we’ve been talking about for ages!

Today’s blog post is all about my gorgeous friend Brianna! She’s a member of UTSA’s cheerleading squad and I absolutely adore all of those beautiful humans. As someone who did routines over and over again until I got them absolutely perfect, I hold a little bit of kinship with these athletes. It doesn’t hurt that they’re all stunning and take the most wonderful photos!

We adventured around one of my favorite places, Cibolo Nature Center. As you go through that place, you see tons of different foliage that makes it seem like you enter a new place each and every time. It is finally starting to look like fall there, so we decided to make the most of it. Brianna is a nature in front of the camera, too! We adventured around and I pointed places out, she struck her pose, and then we moved on. It’s amazing when sessions are that easy and seamless!

When you go through these, enjoy Brianna’s natural beauty and the way she sets a tone in the photos. They were a blast to take and an even better time to edit! I hope you enjoy!

There you have it! Brianna, thanks for coming out to shoot with us. You’re a stunning person both inside and out. We’ll be stoked to work with you again in the future!

We’re still booking our fall sessions, y’all. They have been so beautiful this far and it’s only going to get better as the weather actually starts to change around here. If you’re looking to get some seasonal family portraits done, or just want to tumble around in the gorgeous fall foliage, let’s have an adventure! Our fall sessions are discounted to a really great price right now and will stay that way until 11/1 – so definitely take advantage of that before it’s too late!

Our Christmas sessions are coming up, too! We’re currently booking all of these sessions and want to maximize on all the beauty that is coming to San Antonio before it gets too cold. We’re putting together two different types of sessions – Grinch minis and Christmas Tree Farm sessions. You can book either of these sessions throughout the rest of the year. They’ll be perfect for Christmas cards and all that fun stuff. My gorgeous Joshy is going to be The Grinch – & it’s going to be an absolute blast!

You can use the contact form at the bottom of this post to book your session! I’m quickly starting to fill up my schedule because basketball season is starting and I’ll be insanely busy with that. So, if you’d like to book any type of session, do it soon!

Lastly, we want to say thank you! You guys are the reason I get to go out and shoot every week. It has been a blast developing this business and it wouldn’t be where it is without those who book with us, check out our pictures, and read my rambles once or twice a week. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

Andy & Jeri – An Early Morning Adventure

Happiest of Monday’s, my friends! I hope the weekend was lucrative and you got to spend as much time with your loved ones as you could. Josh and I were insanely busy and that trend won’t end until at least March – so we’re enjoying all the time together that we can.

Today’s blog post is all about Andy and Jeri – one of the cutest couples that I’ve ever met. Andrew is my nephew, and is insanely hard headed and knows exactly what he wants. Jeri is his sweet lady friend and she’s got so much knowledge and excitement behind her eyes that she’s a perfect match for Andy. Whenever they’re together, it’s cool to see how these two balance each other out and enjoy the relationship they create together. It gives face to what love is really about.

When they came for a visit, it only made sense that I put them in front of the camera. Jeri is our resident photographer when we go back to Alabama, so it only seemed fair! It didn’t hurt too much that these two are insanely comfortable with each other and they’re a blast to be around. We got up early and tried to beat out the rain as we shot these. When you get to the photos at the end, you’ll notice that we didn’t quite miss the rain like we wanted to.

As you go through these, enjoy their smiles. Andy isn’t much for smiling, but when Jeri is around, he seems to beam with a grin that no one else can create. It was a joy to edit these beauties, so I hope you enjoy!

There you have it! Andy and Jeri, you guys are always a pleasure to be around and obviously so handsome together. Let’s meet up in Auburn and try these again! If you’re interested in a session like this one, shoot us a message and let’s have an adventure!

We’re currently booking our Halloween/Fall themed mini sessions. I posted a few examples of the backdrop in the last post on the blog, so if you’re interested and wander what these photos might look like, click on the link here.

These Halloween/Fall themed mini sessions are taking place on October 13th and 27th between 10-2. When you book, we’ll let you know where we’re going to set up on each of the dates. Each session is thirty minutes in length and comes with all the best edits from our time together. We’re finishing off this package with a printed 5×7 of your choice! That means you’re getting pretty close to a full sessions worth of things at a discounted rate.

These sessions can be used for costume reveals, fall goodness, or simply because you like the scarecrow! We’re so excited to get these dates out to you guys, we’re not passing up an adventure with anyone! These are first come first serve, so once the date and time have been booked, I’ll cross them out and they will no longer be available. To make sure you get the date and time you’d like, we’re asking for a small deposit before the date and the rest when you come for your session!

These are the times you can choose from on either of the dates (10/13 & 10/27):

10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 12:00, 12:30, 1:00, 1:30

Use the contact form below or send us a message to grab your time and date! If these times get filled up quickly, I may look into adding another date with more times, so be on the lookout for that!

We’re still booking our full fall sessions as well, so please don’t hesitate to reach out for those sessions, either. We’ve been loving our adventures around Cibolo Nature Center and can’t wait for the ones to come!

As always, thank you for hanging with us. We’re so very grateful for how things are going and how many people read along, comment, and book with us. It’s truly amazing!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

Zoe takes Eilan – A Portrait Session

Happy Thursday, everyone! I’m pretty stoked to see the weekend at the end of this week. For some reason, this one has felt like an eternity. Aside from that, I’m grateful for the jam packed days I’ve had and the ones that are heading my way. It doesn’t hurt that we’re heading to Austin this weekend, either – I love a good trip to Austin!

Today’s blog post is all about my good pal Zoe. This lady and I go way back. Maybe not in the sense that we’ve been close forever, but I knew her in some of my most important years as a young adult. Zoe ran track with UTSA during my time as a student athletic trainer. In my training knowledge came knowledge about people – and this chick was always one that gave out as good as she got. If you’re looking to have a good conversation, seek her out – it’s never dull!

This session took us a few months to plan, which is funny – because it seemed like we’d just seen each other when I walked up to her at Eilan. Once we finally settled on a time and date and actually got to meet up – I knew this thing was going to go really well. As we went around the gorgeous shopping complex, we chatted about life, got some good shots, and enjoyed a pretty awesome summer day. All and all, a session I’m so stoked to have been a part of!

As you go through these, take in the cool background and Zoe’s impeccable posing ability. There’s a lot of looking to the sky and I appreciate the aesthetic that brings to the natural light we were shooting in. Check them out below!

There you have it! Zoe, thanks for being a champ & braving the mid-morning heat. These are beautiful and I’m so stoked to have seen you!

To round out the summer, we’re putting on some sunset minis at Cibolo Nature Center! August 8th, & 15th we’ll be out in Boerne for two mini session times. You can book either 6:30 or 7:15 so we can catch that gorgeous honey golden light. If you’re interested in sessions that are lower in price and faster than the norm, these are where it’s at!

We’re also still offering 15% off all our couple/engagement/wedding packages! Until the end of the summer, you and your forever person can get photos for a reduced price. We’ve been loving all the gorgeous summer sunlight, so don’t wait around – it’s the best time of the year for those sunset adventures!

Lastly, we’re now booking into October/November/December – which means I’m putting together my holiday session lists. Throughout the next couple of months, I’ll be shooting several different minis, on location Halloween & Christmas styled sessions, and lots of family portraits! The spots I have available are slowly starting to fill up – so as an incentive to book early, we’re offering 15% off all of these sessions as well. I can’t wait to see the magic we can make!

As always, thank you for tagging along! If you want to know about these different sessions, subscribe to the blog to get an email notification right when the information becomes available. The Boshnasty Photos family is slowly growing and we’re stoked to see what the fall brings our way!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

The Art of Eliza Parker

Happy Tuesday, everyone! My Monday was filled with doctor’s appointments, frustration, and some editing. While the rest of the day wasn’t the greatest, getting to go through each of these gorgeous beauties made it all better. Here’s hoping your day was excellent, and if it wasn’t, there was a light at the end of your tunnel!

Today’s blog post is all about Eliza Parker. If you’ve been around for a while, you’ve seen this name before – because she’s one of the coolest people and one of my favorite people to be around/shoot. The chick is stunning without even trying, and talented beyond all belief. She can tutor, she can make your social media look amazing, and she can PAINT! Which is what you’re about to see.

When I got the idea to showcase my art with other art, I knew Eliza was the only person that could make this vision what I wanted it to be. She jumped up at the chance, which I’m so insanely grateful for. So, after a quick trip to our favorite craft store, we were ready to produce some art.

For the rest of our time together during this session, we listened to music, talked about life, and created these gorgeous beauties. Now, the finished piece of this little adventure hangs on our wall – which I’m so very grateful for. It’s so cool to see someone else’s vision of what we would like and who we are. Eliza, you’re a vision, my dude. These pictures are only going to show half of the amazingness that was produced that day.

As you go through these, enjoy the evolution of her painting. There are photos from the very beginning, all the way through the very end of her process. I wanted to highlight what it was like to go through the enter vision, not just a finished product. Here’s hoping we hit that nail right on the head!
