Zoe takes Eilan – A Portrait Session

Happy Thursday, everyone! I’m pretty stoked to see the weekend at the end of this week. For some reason, this one has felt like an eternity. Aside from that, I’m grateful for the jam packed days I’ve had and the ones that are heading my way. It doesn’t hurt that we’re heading to Austin this weekend, either – I love a good trip to Austin!

Today’s blog post is all about my good pal Zoe. This lady and I go way back. Maybe not in the sense that we’ve been close forever, but I knew her in some of my most important years as a young adult. Zoe ran track with UTSA during my time as a student athletic trainer. In my training knowledge came knowledge about people – and this chick was always one that gave out as good as she got. If you’re looking to have a good conversation, seek her out – it’s never dull!

This session took us a few months to plan, which is funny – because it seemed like we’d just seen each other when I walked up to her at Eilan. Once we finally settled on a time and date and actually got to meet up – I knew this thing was going to go really well. As we went around the gorgeous shopping complex, we chatted about life, got some good shots, and enjoyed a pretty awesome summer day. All and all, a session I’m so stoked to have been a part of!

As you go through these, take in the cool background and Zoe’s impeccable posing ability. There’s a lot of looking to the sky and I appreciate the aesthetic that brings to the natural light we were shooting in. Check them out below!

There you have it! Zoe, thanks for being a champ & braving the mid-morning heat. These are beautiful and I’m so stoked to have seen you!

To round out the summer, we’re putting on some sunset minis at Cibolo Nature Center! August 8th, & 15th we’ll be out in Boerne for two mini session times. You can book either 6:30 or 7:15 so we can catch that gorgeous honey golden light. If you’re interested in sessions that are lower in price and faster than the norm, these are where it’s at!

We’re also still offering 15% off all our couple/engagement/wedding packages! Until the end of the summer, you and your forever person can get photos for a reduced price. We’ve been loving all the gorgeous summer sunlight, so don’t wait around – it’s the best time of the year for those sunset adventures!

Lastly, we’re now booking into October/November/December – which means I’m putting together my holiday session lists. Throughout the next couple of months, I’ll be shooting several different minis, on location Halloween & Christmas styled sessions, and lots of family portraits! The spots I have available are slowly starting to fill up – so as an incentive to book early, we’re offering 15% off all of these sessions as well. I can’t wait to see the magic we can make!

As always, thank you for tagging along! If you want to know about these different sessions, subscribe to the blog to get an email notification right when the information becomes available. The Boshnasty Photos family is slowly growing and we’re stoked to see what the fall brings our way!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

Allie & The Wonder Chamber!

Happiest of Saturday’s, everyone! It has been a minute since I put up a new adventure, and I’m very excited to share this one with you guys. This adventure was at a new place that was filled with potential photography goodness. I’m hoping that this isn’t the only time I get to frequent this place!

Today’s blog post is all about Allie and the cool little gem of a place she found – The Wonder Chamber. Since I found out about Flower Vault, I’ve taken multiple clients to enjoy all of the different backgrounds and flexibility a place like that affords. When Allie brought up Wonder Chamber, I was so very excited. Anything that’s going to make my creative juices flow is something that I can get behind. As we walked in and looked around, I knew this was going to be one of the coolest shoots I’ve gotten to do!

Allie is one of the coolest people I know. Meeting her through Eliza is one of the best things to happen. Between the two of them, there’s almost too much cool for me to fit in! However, both ladies are great models, so I take advantage of how gorgeous they are every chance I can. So, Allie wanting to explore this new and exciting place with me was really cool and I’m so glad we adventured together!

When you go through these photos, I hope you take in all of the different backgrounds – they are creative, extremely unique, and totally different from one another. It makes getting great pictures super easy and brings people out of their shell. By the end, Allie had the biggest grin on her face and seemed to be having the best time. You can tell throughout the pictures how great of a place this is!

Enjoy our Wonder Chamber adventure!

There you have it! Allie, you’re a total gem and I’m so excited to see where life takes you. I also can’t wait to see what other adventures we get to have together. That’s half the fun of being a photographer, getting to have a great time with great people!

If you’re interested in your own session like this, fill out the contact form at the bottom of the page. I would love to go and make my way around this place again. There are still so many things that can be done!

To all my newly engaged couples, we’re offering 15% off ALL of our engagement/wedding packages. That means you’re basically getting your boudoir photos for free! Wedding season is getting busy for me, so make sure you grab this opportunity while you can. I can’t wait to see all you beautiful people on the best days of your lives!

That’s it for now. As always, thanks for sticking around and taking in all that we do around here. It means the most and I wouldn’t get to do all of these fun things without you guys!

Until next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

The Nicola’s – An In-Home Session

Happy Wednesday, everyone! I’m so very stoked about this week. We’re currently spending some quality time with my sister and niece, and the 4th of July is quickly approaching. It’s cool to see how everyone decides to celebrate our country & the cool freedoms we’re allowed. We usually BBQ, grab some sparklers, and enjoy the sweet outdoor activities (cornhole is kind of my game!)

Today’s blog post is all about The Nicola’s! If you’ve been following for a while, you’ve seen this name a couple times before. Aundrea & Angelo are a sweet couple that we love getting to see. Documenting their life is just another cool little perk. This time, we were lucky enough to spend some time with their gorgeous puppy, too! As a family, The Nicola’s are so organized, put together, and seem to have the most fun. It doesn’t hurt that Maggie is one of the cutest puppers I’ve ever seen.

When I found out they were moving into what they consider their forever home, I knew I needed to help document the transition. In-home sessions are all the rage right now, too – so that was an added plus. There is so much of both Aundrea & Angelo throughout the house. Their decor is tasteful and radiates their commitment to each other and their faith. It was a blast to get to know these two a little better through the intricacies of their home.

As you go through these, pay special attention to the color coordination. I’m so impressed by the continuity of beauty throughout their home. Guys, thank you for letting us invade your space and take photos of you in your natural habitat.

There you have it! Aundrea & Angelo, you guys are beautiful as always. Your home is spectacular and I can’t wait to see what you guys create with that amazing space!

To celebrate 4th of July, we’re offering 35% off ALL of our sessions. This will run through July 5th, so we hope to hear from you soon! These summer adventures have been my favorite & I can’t wait to see where you guys take us next!

As always, thank you so very much for your support! We couldn’t keep doing what we’re doing without you guys. We’re so very grateful for the adventures we get to take!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

& Happy Fourth of July!

Parent/Child Camp – Day 2

Happiest of Thursday’s, everyone! Josh & I just touched down in San Antonio after a week in Sin City. Every June, NATA comes around, so we head out & enjoy all things athletic training. This year just so happened to be in one of the craziest & most fun places – Las Vegas. I didn’t end up getting a lot of work done, so I apologize for the delay!

Today’s blog is centered around UTSA Men’s Basketball parent/child camp – day 2! This day of camp was chalk full of game play. They started the morning with 3×3 games, then moved into a shooting competition, only to finish off with 5 on 5 scrimmaging. The kids played the kids, and the parents played the parents. It was intense & totally fun to watch. I don’t have any children, but I would assume that’s one of the coolest parts of having kids – getting to watch them follow in your footsteps.

As you browse through these, take in all the enjoyment. There is something about playing on UTSA’s court that makes the game that much more fun. You can see it in everyone’s eyes – just how much they’re enjoying everything that’s going on.

Oh – & UTSA’s Athletic Director brought her basketball a-game and came out to play with her adorable little son. What’s better than that?!

These pictures are a collection of the photos I felt were the best. However, they are not the only ones that I’ve edited. There are several of each child & parent/child – which I’ll be more than glad to make available to you! Simply shoot me a message.

These images are watermarked & should not be used as your own or shared as such. Send me a message & I’ll be glad to put together a gallery of each of the pictures I have of your specific family to make purchasing easier!

Parents, these beauties are for sale! You can purchase the digital copy of these images for $5 a piece or in increments of 5 for $20 (10 for $40, 15 for $60, etc…) Click on the image, and let me in know in a contact form what the number before the .jpeg is (ex. 007.jpeg = 007).

Without further ado – parent/child camp day 2!

There you have it! That’s it for basketball camps for the summer, but keep checking back – there’s going to be basketball coverage all summer long. I’m so stoked for sport seasons to start again, & I can’t wait to meet all the new teams I’ll do action shots for. One of those teams could be you! Message us below to get more information about our services & packages.

We’re enjoying the summer and are glad to be doing it with all you great people. To make that celebration even better, we’re offering a 10% discount on ALL photo sessions. That includes our wedding & party packages. Let’s make some photo magic!

As alway, thank you guys for checking in with us! We appreciate all the people who comment, like, or even look at the photos on our site. Without you – Boshnasty Photos would not be possible. We appreciate you so very much!

Until the next time, friends! Keep on adventuring…

Chelsea & Christian – A Boerne Adventure

Happiest of Friday’s, my friends! It’s a great day, simply because it’s the end of the week and the weekend will be here before we know it. My niece is coming to town, so I’m a little extra excited for Saturday to get here. She’s a gorgeous human person & time with her is the best!

Today’s blog post is about Chelsea & Christian and our Cibolo Nature Center adventure. If you’ve never been to that place, you’re going to want to go after you see these gorgeous shots. There’s a creek within a big grassy area, within beautiful trees. There are so many different places to snag great shots that it’s kind of overwhelming. Regardless, we managed to pick some of the places that caught our eye first – & they turned out fabulously!

I first met Christian during my grad school program. I was at the end, taking a summer class, and he was just starting. We shared the incredible experience that is Dr. Yao’s class & made it out successfully at the end. Since then, we’ve both been in athletics, doing our own thing. Fast-forward a little bit & Christian is now working closely with my husband on the basketball team. Which means we obviously needed to be adult friends. It doesn’t hurt that his wife is fantastic & the four of us seemed to get along swimmingly on the warm Sunday afternoon we shared.

Now – Christian & Chelsea are one adorable couple. They joke, laugh, & play the entire time they interact. There were a lot of smiles being shared and this cool sort of energy just surrounds them. When you go through these, all of those qualities will be totally apparent. One of the first spots we had them sit down and Christian challenged Chelsea to a game of rock, paper, scissors – it was the cutest thing I’ve seen! It’s natural & easy, so I hope that’s felt in the photos.

Without further ado – my favorites from Chelsea & Christian’s Boshnasty Photos adventure!

There you have it! Chelsea & Christian, thanks for coming out to shoot with us. It was a great time & the result was even better. You guys are so very great!

We’re currently offering family/couple sessions for 25% off! From now until June 31st, we’re celebrating the beauty of summer and the fun families can have together over the course of the next couple of months. Get yourself on our calendar and let’s make some photo magic!

As always, thank you for coming to the site & reading about our adventures. You guys are the only reason we get to do what we do – so we appreciate you very, very much!

Parent/Child Camp – Summer 2019

Happy Wednesday, everyone! The hump of the week is one of the best and worst parts. You’re so close to the weekend, but you still have to deal with the rest of the work week, too. I seem to get a lot done on my hump day – so I tend to think it’s a lot better than it is a lot worse. Here’s hoping your week is going the best it can & your weekend is shaping up to be excellent, too!

Today’s blog post is all about the UTSA Men’s Basketball Parent/Child camp. They usually do this every summer right around Father’s Day. It’s a cool way to celebrate the parent/child bond & bring everyone together for some good basketball. This is probably one of my favorite camps to come out and shoot. All of the parents are remembering what it’s like to be intense, while the children are seeing their parents in a totally different light. I remember when I was a kid – I was always insanely impressed by my dad whenever he did the things I so desperately wanted to be able to do, too!

These shots were really fun to edit. Getting to see the stuff live was great, but capturing the pure enjoyment of everyone around the gym was even more excellent. I tried to get the parents with their children, and plenty of the little ones playing their little hearts out. I’ve decided to split the camp posts up into the two days, so Day One (today’s post) is all about the drills & stations. Later this week, I’ll post Day Two, which will consist of scrimmaging & shooting contests.

Make sure to check back in the next few days for the next installment – the action is epic! Until then, check out Day One of UTSA Men’s Basketball’s Parent/Child camp.

There you have it! UTSA Coaches & fans, as an observer, this camp is my favorite. If you’re looking for a place to do a little bit of athletics and spend time with your family, this is a place for you! They have this camp every year, so make sure you put it on the calendar for next summer.

We’re currently offering family/couple sessions for 25% off! From now until June 31st, we’re celebrating the beauty of summer and the fun families can have together over the course of the next couple of months. Get yourself on our calendar and let’s make some photo magic!

UTSA MBB Summer Basketball

Happy Monday, everyone! I know it’s the start of the week, but I can’t help but be excited. The summer is the best time of the year, and the passing days keep making that more and more apparent. We’ve spent the passed couple of days shooting basketball camp & beautiful couples – a truly excellent way for the minutes to slip by. Here’s hoping everyone is enjoying their time in the same way!

There’s one thing I dislike about summer, though – & that’s the absence of basketball. The season is hectic, but there’s something to be said about a game that I’ve known & loved my whole life. It’s cool to be so engrained in it, getting to capture it is the absolute best. Which is why I go out of my way every summer to still keep it in the playlist. The guys will train throughout the summer, honing in on their skills – & every now and then I’ll bring my camera around and capture it.

While I’m very stoked to grab another one of their strength workouts, I’m super stoked to have shoot a practice this early on. All the new guys are trying to find where they fit, and all the returners are working their asses off to make the most out of their summer hours on the court. Everyone is trying their best to mesh, so the dynamic is fresh & raw. As you go through these shots, you’ll be able to catch all the little things I’m talking about.

This isn’t the last of my UTSA summer posts, so make sure you check back soon. There’s also going to be a whole bunch of parent/child action here in the next few days – so get excited!

Until then, enjoy these action shots of some of the hardest working dudes I know!
